C.U.E.'s ISO 9001 Certification

At C.U.E., customer satisfaction with our materials, products, and service is our number one priority (click to view our Quality Policy SEE BELOW).  Our integrated Cranberry Township manufacturing facility operates under an ISO 9001:2008 registered quality management system (click to view certificate).  C.U.E. incorporates the latest advances in urethane chemistry and urethane processing technology, within this quality system framework, to meet the custom elastomer molding requirements of our customers. 

At C.U.E., quality begins with the testing of incoming raw materials by technicians in our own lab to assure that these materials meet our stringent quality requirements.  These raw materials are then processed on state-of-the-art computer controlled mixing equipment, under the constant supervision of trained, highly-skilled operators, and cast according to part-specific processing guidelines developed by our Engineering Department. 

In addition to computer monitoring of critical parameters, each mixing machine’s calibration is verified manually by the operator, and sample plaques are cast for subsequent testing in accordance with ASTM specifications.  After being cast and properly cured, each customer’s part is then finished to specification and certified by our Q.C. Department, if required, before being shipped.

Should, for any reason, a customer express a concern with an item that C.U.E. has produced, a thorough investigation is immediately launched.  If a problem is detected, then C.U.E.’s Quality Control, Engineering, and Production Departments work together to develop and implement a plan for the corrective action to resolve the customer’s concern.
